YPERIA CONVENTION 2019
The 17TH INTERNATIONAL CONVENTION ON TOURISM & CULTURE YPERIA 2019 will take place on Amorgos Island, Greece, from October 31st to November 5th, 2019.
The main scope of discussion will be Gastronomy, Ecology, Rural Amorgos Architecture and UNESCO
The 10th Amorgos Tourism Film Festival will take place during the works of YPERIA 2019.
Established in 1993 the association was created in order to reveal, promote and protect the culture, the traditions and the environment of Amorgos.
Amorgos is an island that maintained its identity, customs and culture. It’s a place of natural beauty, with historical & archaeological sites, byzantine monuments, hiking trails….
Marble sculptor with Amorgian roots, he worked as a sculptor, conservator different important archeological sites and exhibits his work permanently at Aegialis Hotel & Spa.
The Amorgian Gastronomy Guide aims to inform its visitors about all the values and gooes of our gastronomic culture. Places and landscapes, products and people, history and tradition, events and rituals.
The 10TH AMORGOS TOURISM FILM FESTIVAL will take place on Amorgos Island, Greece, from October 31st to November 5th, 2019.
The main purpose of the Festival is to create an international platform for enhancing global tourism through audiovisual media, taking into account the need
for social responsibility and sustainable development.
I am very happy I was part of YPERIA. In real, I still cant to go out of that happy feeling... I am still flying somewhere higher than my plane that land yesterday. Thank you all for the great time in Amorgos, for new knowledge's, new friendship, the tasty food, seems that all the time I was eating the food of the Gods: nectar and ambrosia.
Thank you for this beautiful experience!! Yperia made me discover Greece on a totally different aspect. I was impress by the quality of the convention & the Short Film Festival and met many interesting people. I'll be back for sure, Amorgos is magic... Thanks again for your kindness.
