CALL FOR ENTRIES

 

The 5th International Short Tourism Film Festival of Amorgos is launching its 2014 Call for Entries and invites filmmakers around the world to submit feature films, documentaries, shorts, animation and experimental works. The deadline for submission is Thursday, February 20, with an extended deadline.

The Cultural Association of Tholaria – Amorgos and Aegialis Hotel & Spa ( www.aegialis-amorgos.com ) are pleased to organize for the 5th consecutive year, the International Short Tourism Film Festival of Amorgos from April 10 to 15, 2014, in Aigiali, Amorgos Island, Greece.

The International Short Tourism Film Festival of Amorgos is an annual 4-day event, with every day screenings, held during the works of the YPERIA International Convention on Culture and Tourism.

The Festival’s main intention is to set up an international platform with a view to encouraging global tourism through audio-visual media. Every year, the best films, documentaries and activities that contribute to the development of domestic and foreign tourism and the implementation of green practices, are nominated for an award. Tourism films are a good opportunity to address important issues and highlight the cultural and environmental richness of a place.

Before submitting, please read the Rules & Regulations. Download and fill out the .pdf Form for Entries to mail in with your screener.  All materials must be clearly labeled with the name of the film and the person submitting.
