Clairy Moustafellou was born in Athens and although her permanent residence has been there ever since, during her life she always has been travelling, She started photography and travel reportage in 1996 and since then has been working with numerous leading travel publications including NATIONAL GEOGRAPHIC, Spanish Viajes and Altair, Italian IN VIAGGIO, BELLE EUROPA,French CONDE NAST Traveller, etc, and with Greek magazines and special editions such as Passport, the Reportage, Epsilon, VOYAGER,…In order to help the promotion of Geece abroad, along with her publishing activity, she maintained collaboration for many years in a row with EOT (Greek Tourism Organisation) by participating in photo exhibitions, scrapbooks, posters, etc. while providing photos for a special edition “Zoom on Greece” of HeartMatters, as a contribution to special Olympics 2004 event. Over the last few years she has been teaching the importance of travel photojournalism to new photographers.
